Hi darling - I do not post much, but I am thinking of getting back into that habit under this journal name. Just a nice quiet place with friends - Love you lots and miss ya!
BTW - I have been interested in FFXI, but I was not sure it was worth it if you do not have oddles of time - any thoughts?
Nice to know I have someone else sort of coming back into the fold :)
As for FFXI, I've played for a couple of hours and my first thoughts were that it's dull, hard, boring and bland. My BF plays and has a top level character, he loves it, but he has even said to me don't bother playing unless you're willing to give it lots of time, because you have to party to do anything.
If you want to try an MMORPG I would recommend world of warcraft, it's a strange little game that allows you to solo your way up to top level without any drawbacks, it is the only one I've found that lets you do that. It's also colourful and interesting to look at, it's the only one I've had any real desire to keep on playing and paying for month after month. It's also easy to put down and pick up if you want something you can come back to when you want.
