I got early yesterday and went to Amsterdam and got yelled at by a lady at Walmart because she didn't have the $40 I asked for. Then I get on the bus and spill my beverage (coffee related) on my lap and try to clean it off with a napkin from Dunkin Donuts and get purple/pink ink on my pants along with the beverage. Then we started down to New York City. The trip was a lot of fun. At the first rest stop I bought moist towelettes to try to clean my pants and I bought a MochaLatta Chill. Omg it was so good! I loved it! Nate bought combos and strawberry milk which he later spilled on his pants. We continued the trip down to NYC and when we arrived a group of us consisting of Alex H., Alex F., Brianne, Cicco, Janaye, Vinny, Nate, Alex H.'s mom, the dance instructor person, and I decided we were going to try to make it to the Empire State building and back in the time we had. So we walk there (it is a long walk) and find out it is going to be a 35 minute wait after we get tickets but we wait anyways. It ends up taking longer than that and when we finally get to the end Cicco gets stopped cause he has a Swiss Army knife! I wanted to kill him and I still kinda do when I think back on it. I don't care if I piss people off by saying this but that was the stupidest damn thing to bring even if he did think we were going into a museum, there are metal detectors there too!!! Grr. Anyways, we all continue up without them and the top was amazing, even though I've seen it before. Then we have to go because we have like 10 minutes to make the 30+ minute walk back. So we get in the elevator and it takes us down to the lobby but Cicco had to go get his knife (grrrr) so we had to wait for him to go back up to the second floor and come back down. Then we had to use a combination of running and walking to get back to the theater which was like 15+ blocks away and when we get there we find out that the musical didn't start for another 20 or 30 minutes so Nate and I do in a sit there and recover from our trip across the city. The musical was pretty good, I wasn't fond of that musical to begin with but I wanted to go on the trip. Actually I must say, I hate The Little Shop of Horrors but it was worth the money and seeing it to go on the trip. The trip home from NYC was fun as well but involved finding out a new meaning for the term BIG BAD WOLF (never watch Into the Woods). I bought a post card with two cute foxes on it on the way back (if you don't get it you don't deserve to know). All in all yesterday was a good day even though I got kinda sick by the end of it.
Yesterday also happened to be Nate's and my three month. It was great, I love him so much! *Sigh* Oh happiness, how I love thee.
