random question about time-type stuff

would you rather be able to travel through time (all the way in any direction), but affect nothing, or have the power to slow/speed/stop time and do whatever with it you want, or the ability to see what would have happened had the past gone a different way? you only get one of the choices, so no mixing and matching, please (although 'none of the above' would certainly be a valid choice).

bonus points if you explain why you made your particular choice.
