Escape

We escaped. I punched a hole in reality and we fled, landing on top of Uluru. She'd wanted to go somewhere she'd never been before so this was as good a place as any. We looked around at the red desert before us, and I remembered that you weren't supposed to climb this rock any more, it was sacrilege or something. I could already tell that some elder had noticed us and was starting to get annoyed. Besides, somehow there was a news lady next to us and she wasn't invisible like we were. So we got off the rock and ended up at the start of some rally. There was some sort of argument happening, and apparently the cars weren't working. One guy had his engine out completely and I could see that it wasn't good. He was trying to test it to work out why it wasn't working but didn't have nearly enough support gear. I offered to help and took the connector that went to the ECU in one hand and crossed a couple of wires to start it, and it did start, but it really wasn't healthy. I got it to rev a little but it was leaking smoke so we shut it down quickly and pronounced it dead. I had a look at his competitors engine and it was much nicer.

We were at some research facility built above the ocean by the shore. We were discussing sharks. We fluffed and wandered some, just looking around at things. Then things turned nasty really quickly as a big shark attacked the facility, pushing up the wooden floor boards and we fled but we couldn't see the land as there were too many buildings in the way so I grabbed her and punched a hole through the roof and flew up, past the moon, and into space. We were probably safe there. We looked around and laughed and chatted some, and we got to wondering if space had sharks, this being basically a giant ocean of nothingness after all. And yes, space does have sharks, which caused consternation amongst the people there and we fled back to earth as suddenly their sharks weren't so bad after all.

I was cycling somewhere, on an old crappy bike that I had over a decade ago, and I couldn't change into the higher gears so I couldn't keep up with traffic and was causing problems. I pulled into a turning lane on the right hand side and stopped there. My Father came over to look at the problem and pulled up the seat to access a basket underneath it to get at some screwdrivers there. I couldn't believe the screwdrivers were safe in there, the holes in the basket weave were just too big. I went to get my phone to call the woman telling her I'd be late only it wasn't in my pocket. I'd lost it! I looked around and found a phone on the asphalt by the concrete berm amongst the leaf litter and trash. It wasn't my phone though, it was white. There was a black phone underneath it but that still wasn't my phone, and I began to wonder why there were so many phones lost here, all stacked neatly on the road. My phone was at the bottom of the pile and it was safe :)

We were at a lake. We should be safe from sharks here :) The lake however was only 3' deep maximum so swimming wasn't that satisfactory :( Also it was full of fish, which made for interesting swimming :) However they could sense what I was and kept setting off alarms alerting other people to me. I kept quieting them down and turning the alarms off but it was getting annoying :( Then the woman turned up with a bunch of her friends so I went over to her. She'd decided that it was my birthday or something, and was being really nice to me :) She and her friends started cooking omelettes and other things, but they didn't bother to clean first and the place was really grotty! :( I got handed a cup of tea, and kept pulling hair out of it. When I'd pulled enough hair out of it it somehow turned into milk tea, which I don't like. I understood that she was trying to be nice to me, but couldn't she get to know me a little better first? And be a bit cleaner?
