Demonic Basketball

I was young, maybe 16, and part of a rich family. We were demons. I was stupidly powerful but I'd been hiding that, we had enemies and they didn't need to know. Some friends were over and I was chatting to a friend of mine, she was mid 20's and had a nice boyfriend, they were also both demons. It was raining when they left and I walked them to their car. There was some kerfuffle about getting in the car and we hid under the shelter of an overpass into a courtyard. The courtyard was formed by the walls of a pub, which was 2 storeys tall and the 2nd storey made up the overpass we sheltered under. The boyfriend popped into the pub quickly to do something, and when he came out he was evil :( Demons had 2 basic natures: good and evil. You could try to maintain a balance of the two, but it was tricky, and there was no real point that I could see. Good demons had a blue energy and looked human, we could pass easily. Evil demons had a red energy and were disfigured and grotesque. There's no way they could pass as human. The boyfriend came out with a typical demon look, red skin, giant black horns, fangs etc. I saw this, but he thought me weak and useless so what could I do. He hid it before his girlfriend saw though, and I worried for her as they went home :(

She came over some days later, worrying about her boyfriend: he'd been so nice, so kind and gentle, now he'd changed. I checked her energies and he'd been pumping red into her, trying to unbalance her. I gently pumped her full of blue again and calmed her down. Her boyfriend came in and they danced, a bizarre macabre dance. An I own you, I control you, you can't escape dance :( I walked outside as I didn't want to see that, but didn't dare stop it. Outside were 4 evil demons, obviously his flunkies *sigh* They were pretty pathetic, early 20's males, disfigured and proud of it *sigh* Trash mobs basically. The boyfriend came out and challenged me to game of basketball. *giggles* I'm not sure what we were playing for, but he said that as there were 5 on his side he had to get 5 goals to win, but if I scored just 1 goal I could win *giggles* Like that would be hard. His flunkies then started to surround me, crowding me, which I didn't like so I got out of there and it was game on. They weren't very good at this and I was able to intercept a pass easily enough, just summon the ball to my hand :) Somehow a flunky's hand came with it as well. One of them grabbed me by my shirt sleeve so I cast shred on it, gently unpicking the stitching so it slid off my arm. Then I was free, but where was my goalpost? It was next to our letterbox, and only waist high :) One of the flunkies was there and he cast a spell to cover the hoop in a thin plastic sheeting, but I just punched the ball through that, the other flunky's hand was still attached. I'd scored, I'd won. I was so glad they thought me weak and incompetent :)
