Curse my scallywagging cowardice!
Oh yes, who's a wuss with a capital W, eh? ME!!! So I went in to hand in my portfolio and then wandered past the room he was supposed to be rehearsing in. He wasn't there. Bollocks. So...I wandered about a bit, read a bit of a book, called in on Anka, read a bit more, wandered some more...went back to the refectory for some food.
Just when I was probably considering going home due to over-consumption and feeling sick, I turn my head and EGAD, he's only sat at the other side of the room with a load of his friends totally looking my way. So I chickened and kept chatting with Anka and then Wenna. I accidentally caught his eye as I slipped out with Anka to get her post, planning to maybe come back and say hi later. I went back to the refectory with her, dang it...he'd gone. So I thought he'd be back up in the rehearsal room...but I was too scared to decide what to do, and then he flippin walked past again and back into the refectory. Then he walked out again, past me *again* and off to the library.
*Sigh* So...I went to the library with Anka in tow after persuading her and apologising severely. With her force, I managed to seat myself 2 computers away from him, still not daring to make eye contact as he sat chatting to his friend - an equally celebritous 3rd year actor of high regard. Eventually Anka left and I sat cursing to myself as I clicked stupidly back and forth on webpages I'd already seen 6 times over. Still couldn't look at him *squeaks*. Effing coward me! So I mailed him saying something like "Omg I'm such a coward, you're sat like 2 seats away and I don't dare say hi. You sound really busy though *hides* so good luck with your work :) and if I don't get around to it, hi!"
He every now and then wandered past to get something he'd printed off, me not daring to turn though he must've seen I was messing about on KOL. Then I heard he and his friend were leaving and I was innerly kicking myself. I thought he'd just leave and I'd be wanting to smack my head on the desk...but as he passed he dropped me a NOTE!
It's so cute. It has a little doodle of a skull and crossbones, Captain Jack on a boat shouting "Send 'em to Davy Jones' locker!" and a message saying "Hello Jack, Avast Ye Haha!" and "sorry about the lame script on the back"...which seems to be a piece of his platform performance and it looks amusing hehe.
I waited til I thought he'd left the building but to embarrassment I found he was still in the reception *so damn obvious I was only in there because he was* ... and he turned and smiled at me and we said "Hi" and I escaped to the bus *blushes to death*
So I think I can safely say he likes me *^-^*
D'oh I have to go back to Bretton again in a couple of hours. He probably won't be there though. Hopefully I'll manage to say more than hi next time *sigh*
