Genetic engineering and implants: Like all Astartes Adepts, Cargn underwent gene-therapy and ritual implantation to become the superhuman Space Marine that he is today. Each implant has a specific function which places him far above and beyond the standard human soldier.
-Biscopea (The Forge of Strength): Releases muscle building hormones, greatly increasing his muscle mass and strength, allowing him to easily bend steel plates with just a punch, and allowing him to carry weights a normal human couldn't dream of.
-Larraman's Organ (The Healer): Releases Larraman Cells, which are essentially super-platelets, creating near instant scar-tissue over any wound to help staunch bleeding. With this organ, Cargn is capable of surviving many normally-fatal wounds, and even still be capable of fighting.
-Occulobe (The Eye of Vengeance): Implanted near his visual-cortex, this organ allows the marine to see extremely far, as well as see in extremely low-light conditons. (destroyed when Cargn lost his eyes)
-Secondary Heart (The Maintainer): As the name suggests, this is a second heart next to the original, allowing him to maintain his powerful genetically-modified body at peak performance, as well as allowing him to survive if one heart fails for any reason.
-Multilung (The Imbiber): A third lung-chamber, allowing him to breathe better in low-oxygen environments. Also, he may close off his normal lungs and use the multilung as a filter in the event of poisonous gasses.
-Oolitic Kidney (The Purifier): Should poison and toxin levels in Cargn's bloodstream get too much for even his advanced system to handle, this organ will put his body into a state of emergency detoxification, attempting to remove all foreign substances from his blood.
-Haemastamen (The Blood Maker): This organ greatly increases the production of red blood-cells, making the host's blood far more efficient.
-Ossmodula (The Ironheart): This organ affects bown growth, causing the Marine's bones to be extremely strong and quick-healing. In addition, it fuses the host's ribs together, causing the ribcage to essentially become a masive, solid plate of bone around the internal organs.
-Lyman's Ear (The Sentinel): Replacing the Marine's original inner ear, this organ grants him extremely accute hearing, allowing him to both enhance and block out certain sounds at will, as well as increasing the host's balance.
-Catalepsean Node (The Unsleeping): This node implanted into the brain allows the Marine to rest half their brain at once, allowing them to remain awake for several days at a time, though after this they must sleep regularly for several days in order to retain full function.
-Betcher's Gland (The Poison Bite): This gland, attached to the salivary gland, allows the Marine to spit a highly acidic poison, capable of eating completely through a steel bar in a couple of hours, as well as rendering the marine immune to said acid.
-Preomnor (The Neutralizer): A "pre"-stomach, this small pouch detects harmful substances entering the digestive tract and prevents them from advancing further, allowing the Marine to safely purge the substance later.
-Neuroglottis (The Devourer): By chewing or tasting a substance, the Marine can instantly know its toxicity and/or nutritive content. It also allows the Marine to detect subtle odors like a tracking dog.
-Omophagea (The Remembrancer): By devouring a being's neural tissue, a Marine can essentially see that being's memory. These memories are completely random, however, and are difficult to process, even if the Marine devours the entirety of the being's neural tissue.
-Sus-an Membrane (The Hibernator): This implant in the Marine's brain allows him to voluntarily enter a state of suspended animation, in which the Marine can survive for centuries if need be. In order to revive, a particular solution needs to be injected into the blood-stream, a dose of which is often included within the Marine's survival gear.
-Mucranoid (The Weaver): Working in conjunction with the Sus-an Membrane, when the Marine enters the Sus-an hibernation, this organ secretes a mucus-like membrane across the the Marine's skin, which quickly hardens, allowing the suspended Marine to survive even in the vacuum of space.
