This week has been a stressful week. Well, the past few weeks have been as a matter of fact. In the school department I feel like I am drowning. Drawing is fucking hard! I am behind in my reading and my homework sketches. French is kicking my ass - I thought it was supposed to get easier after the first year!! I guess not. I had an exam the other day and totally bombed it. I don't know what the fuck I studied for, because it had nothing to do with that exam. Oi!
Good news is that I got pretty much ALL of this week's English done and out of the way. Ive been busting my ass, and thankfully its paid off. I am preparing to write a research paper on Population and Consumption, and some how tie in woman's rights, abortion, gender inequality, education, exhaustion of natural resources and call bullshit on American consumption and back asswardness. I also want to talk about how banning abortion is retarded and bad for the environment. This should be fun!
Hmm... so yeah. Rob and I are leaving tomorrow morning for Beltane. We are both stressed and this will be a much needed mini vacation. He's picking up camping gear right now, and tonight I am baking pear bran muffins for us and homemade strawberry shortcake for all the hippies. Fucking hippies. So what that I am going to Beltane, was raised in a bus, hang out with Bob, am concerned about the environment, and hate G.W. Bush - I am NOT a hippie! I wear black - see? With that said, viva la hippie fest camp out! hehe..
P.S. Maybe I will post some of my interesting research findings. There is one scholarly article in particular which I found to be really interesting. It's titled "The Ecological Crisis, the Human Condition, and Community-Based Restoration as an Instrument for its Cure".
