Ninjutsu - Lean season, with fewer lessons and fewer times to practice, however every lesson keeps being a gem. Learning new stuff and integrating it with older techniques. Time to climb that innovation hump and start thinking outside the box. Improvising techniques being the next stage of learning, maybe a few hours with a friend will pay off...
This year we're going for the Sneaky sort, evading in the smallest movements leaving a very narrow space for mistakes and leaving even smaller room for being slow. I'll get there.
Synthesis with Arnis is getting better as movement-efficiency increase in upper-body sections. Wrist-lock techniques seem to have a lot to in common between the systems for the obvious reason there aren't all that many ways to lock a wrist... However pointers regarding a short stick and the locks would be just as valid unarmed.
I need a guinea pig.
Perhaps some short-stick integration is in order but that remains to be seen.
Goals:
Increase repertoire in unarmed locks and short sticks locks.
Cut flow (again) into usable chunks - the flowing motion takes too much concentration to actually work around a real attack.
