First Snow...
Even though winter doesn't "officially" start until tomorrow, it sure as hell feels like winter now. We got our first snow of the season last night as the temperature plummeted to a low of 18 degrees. I have to say though, I love snow! I felt like a little kid in a candy store last night as we were coming home from the city in the snow. We were sticking out our tongues to catch the snowflakes. We took pictures once we got home. We even went outside at around 11:30 last night to "play" in it, which means I slid around the almost icy parts of the ground trying not to fall on my ass! It's kind of weird but I like the cold. Especially when it snows. I love the smell of it, the feel of it, and the taste of it. I can't wait to go snowboarding in Vermont in a few weeks (Jan. 11-16). I also plan to get a sled or make one out of a garbage can lid like I used to when I was a kid so I can go sledding in our park once there's enough snow on the ground for it. It's going to be AWESOME!! Snow puts me instantly into the Christmas spirit. Anyway, look for the pictures to be posted soon and more info about New Year's.
