I finally received an answer from Southland. If we want to get custom song support, we have to convince the management at ten pin alley since they are the one's wanting it to be off.

Also, they know about the 2P up arrow and should be fixing it soon.

Just thought i'd throw that out there for everyone.

The management has nothing to do with that aspect, since they don't control the machine. Southland amusement needs to be told this:

As long time players of this game and games of this genre in general, our interest is to have the custom songs option turned ON and, possibly, edit the hard drive to include songs/song packs of our choosing (within reason) bootable by the machine and, therefore, playable under any circumstance. We already have an individual well versed in the operation of transferring data over to the ITG2 r21 hard drive in Myrtle Beach who would be willing to drop by and take care of the matter in a simple process. He can also provide references of other machines he has transferred data over to with great success.

This data transfer would further establish the machine as legit in the community and its revenue intake would rise greatly and would remain in a constant state.

We believe it is very important for there to be communication between all parties involved in the ongoings of amusement machines such as ITG2 (owners, managers, and customers alike). If one is not happy, then it will slowly work its way around the circle, bringing bitterness in the end. As customers of said machine, what we ask for is generally considered minimal in the community. We would just like our entertainments to be just that; entertaining.

I don't think this ITG2 is going to last long, unless we become known as regulars there who spend a decently proportioned amount of money and clean up after ourselves and not cause ruckus. Be respectful and you'll find it will go a long way.

All in all, just enjoy the machine while we have it. If its there for another two months, I'm sure they'll listen to us more and be more willing to satisfy our requests. Mainly because they'll see how much money we bring them.

Also, this goes to everyone who wants to help. DON'T GO AROUND TALKING SHIT YOU CAN'T CASH. Seriously. Nothing leaves a bad taste in an amusement manager/owner's mouth like a little brat spouting off at the mouth with no real experience in maintaining/running amusement machines. I'm not saying it has gotten to this level. I just want to nip it in the bud before someone goes and further enforces a stereotype that most outsiders have of the dance game community. I like these games. I like having new ones. I don't need you doing something stupid and finding my machine gone for no honest reason whatsoever.

I believe most of us can agree on this.
