Ok folks, Uncle Dae's gonna get political for a moment. I'm going to talk about the stimulus bill. Regardless of your feelings on the bill itself, there is some disturbing language in it related to health care, particularly what I see as a loss of our fundamental doctor/patient confidentiality privilege. I won't delve into the details here, you can read the article that brought my attention to it yourself. I will note that while it is an editorial, the author does provide links to the portions being discussed so you can look it up yourself. If you read it and it doesn't bother you, that's fine- I appreciate you talking the time to hear me out. But if this does bother you, get the word out. Contact your Congressional reps and let them know you want this part of the stimulus bill out NOW.
