When it comes to yaoi, I like the seme to be somewhat sadistic because I find the whole S&M and bondage thing intriguing ONLY in the comic world. I’ll never watch the real thing, (hypocritical I know). Age is also very important (I just don’t condone teens or worse, minors in adult situations). His personality should be mature, mysterious and a bit of the serious type. And just for kicks, I would like to see him completely powerless in an intimate scene.
My favorite type of uke varies. Sometimes I like the dominate ones and sometimes I like the catty yet stubborn and vulnerable ones, it really depends on the setting of the story. I’m not at all interested in the girly ones who cries in almost every scene because I feel like if I want to see that kind of trait, I might as well read a typical shoujo manga, however there are those rare occasions where there is an effeminate guy (Liu Feilong) whose quite dominate (I’ll make an exception in this case).
