I really love you translating Aya's facial expressions, especially How about I crack you open with my inscrutable Oriental martial arts, you racist fucker?
I'm convinced that Free is an elf. There's no other explanation.
Thanks for the reviews. Since I don't get to see these myself, I have to live vicariously through your posts!
I think the faces are pretty but the bodies and cloth are stiff and wrong. I'm also trying to figure out the masks. What's the use of covering one side of your face? Why the hell does Free wear a mask that doesn't cover his distinctive facial markings? Oh, I'm thinking about this way more than Koyasu and his artist are.
Omi shows up from time to time - sometimes he's just mentioned, sometimes there's a few panels of him looking glum, in newer issues. As far as I know, Schwarz haven't shown up (yet), but Yohji appeared in a brief flashback.

The really scary thing is that when the dialogue gets really freakish, that's when my translations are the most careful and accurate . . .

Free is an elf. But not a vampire, alas, as I checked and he's from Lichtenstein, not Romania. Chloe's from Romania.
Vol 5 is currently out in Japanese. I eagerly await the German translators getting their fingers out and providing me with more Weiss-crack!
