Non-disappointing sequel shocker
I just finished Let the Old Dreams Die, by John Ajvide Lindqvist, a collection of short stories. The story that gives the book its name is a novella that is a sequel - more of a side-story - to Let the Right One In. I was a bit wary of reading it at first as I like the ending to the novel, but it was satisfying. I will give no spoilers! The other stories are of the creeping horror variety, good stuff and readable even for wimps like me.
