Back To (A Sort Of) Reality
So I'm in Canada now, as you probably already know. Actually, I've been back for exactly one week today, as of one hour ago. I want to say that I'm settling into a routine, but that's not exactly true, as my routine right now consists of Unpacking, Assembling, And Setting Up Furnature. Hopefully that's not a pattern that will continue much longer? Well, I know that Unpacking will, as my giant shipment of Everything From My Apartment has arrived, and if all goes smoothly it'll be taking up space in the basement by tonight. Here's hopin'!
I was Internet-less for a month, and it wasn't that bad, I guess, but I am very very happy to be jacked back in just the same. Here's hoping that I can actually find reasons to leave my room here, and not spend all of my waking hours staring at the screen.
I'll work on a breakdown of my last month in Japan soon enough. I think that understandibly it's a little hard to talk about right now. And ordinarily I'd be concerned with writing it out quickly before it's forgotten, but I actually had been obsessively documenting everything I did/ate in a diary for the last two months already, so be assured it's all down on paper. For now I'll just say that it was as perfect a sendoff as I could have ever dreamed of. And my homecoming so far has also been wonderful, beyond my wildest expectations. I have some amazing people in my life, on several continents. I miss everybody right now, even my Canadia peeps.
Gonna wrap it up now. I have 40 bajillion reddit posts to catch up on! Time's a wastin'!
