Long overdue yes, I got tagged for this meme from the lovely miss
CrossMirage. Meme rules are as follows~
1. Reply to this post, and I will pick three of your icons.
2. Make a post (including the meme info) and talk about the icons I chose.
3. Other people can then comment to you and make their own posts.
4. This will create a never-ending cycle of icon squee. Whoo!
1.
One of my oldest, and most favorite icons in general. This one is the Cheshire Cat from American McGee's Alice (a wonderful, wonderful game if you haven't read it yet!) I truly loved the cat, everything from his cool methodical voice to his constant witty riddles. I won't say he made the game, but he truly added to it. Much <3 for that cat.

Kurtis was by far my favorite character in Disgaea. Much like Cheshire, he was very cool and collected about things, and while he didn't exactly make the best decisions, he knew what he had to do by end game. He gave his life to save his friends, and was truly deserving of being the official 38th Defender of Earth. Add to all of that a very awesome character design (the pointy hair, lab coat, jetpacks, etc) and my favorite theme song in the game.
Fast forward to the last chapter of the game, when there seems to be little hope for the party and BAM. out of nowhere comes Prinny Kurtis! He comes in at the last second to offer assistance saving the day and joining your party. While some would find the Prinny thing a bit humiliating, i always found it awesome for Kurtis. (Much <3 for Prinnies) Besides, the way he puts it is amazing. "THIS LOOK, THIS DETERMINATION. THIS STATURE" all for a prinny.
I felt the least I could do was use a picture of my favorite Disgaea character, and 'sides. It's fun to have a picture of what looks like a random Green determined Prinny. :3

In the Timesplitters series, Gretel has always been my character of choice. She has a large amount of fun and badassery to her methinks. Of all the games though, my favorite was her TS2 rendition, where you had a robotic femme wearing a hood and a scarf. I always loved the effect of the eyes glowing from beneath the darkness of the hood. Anyway, badass icon of a character I love = enough reason to use it on ElJay.
