very distracted lately because of heavy amounts of "homework" from the day job. Been working 11-12 hour days this week, plus working last weekend and planning to do so again this weekend. Doesn't happen too often at my job, but when it does, it does with a vengence ( Read more... )

I think you should check it out...read it again or get a reader to do it, especially one who is familiar with that genre. Then get their comments and think about your own and if at the end of the day you think to yourself "nope. I think it's finished as it is" then keep sending it out on the faith that an editor somewhere will agree with you :)
