The Labour Party is in crap for accepting 'loans' from millionaire businessmen.
They are, to an extent, accepting this money because they don't want to be reliant on the unions.
The unions consist of ordinary working men and women, while the lenders are the sort of people whose commitment to socialism means that they have a few million pounds lying around that they can afford to give to the Labour party with no promises of when they'll get it back.
The Labour Party is courting the atrociously rich while distancing itself from the normal worker.
Hopefully 'New Labour' will officially adopt that name so that socialists can have plain old 'Labour' back.
