Tamara strolled along the grounds. It had been a long day and she found a spot near the trees. Sure, she shouldn't be sitting on the ground but no one was around. After settling on the ground, she opened a book and started reading.

A bored Stephen walked out on to the grounds, aimlessly wandering nowhere in particuar. Wow, this castle was so dull sometimes, he thought, and just when he was about to turn around and go inside, he spotted Tamara by the tree. "Hey there," he said.

Tamara looked up and smiled at Stephen. He'd always been nice to have around. And, since their parents supported them being 'friends'. "How are you? Still snogging random girls?"

He sat down next to Tamara and outstretched his legs against the grass, looking up at the sky. "I'm fine. Of course I am -- what about you? Snogged any good blokes lately?" he asked casually.

Snogged any good blokes? Not really, no GOOD ones at least. A certain memory of a certain Slytherin boy entered her mind but she quickly pushed it away. "Yeah, quite a few actually." She yawned and turned to smile at him. "I saw Eugene trip today, it was hilarious."

Well, wasn't this nice? He always enjoyed how they could go around and snog other people when they were supposed to be in a "relationship." Bah, relationships. At least with them, they never got jealous. "That's good," he said, laughing a bit. "Oh, he did? Was he wearing his poison hat?"

Tamara burst out laughing. "Oh, I wish he was wearing his poison hat. I'm sure Aodhan has knitted him quite a few, actually. I think those two are a little too close, if you know what I mean." She looked around a bit, making sure that nobody was lurking around. Nope, nobody around. She scooted closer to him and wrapped her arm around him. "Hey," she said in a quieter voice.

"I wish that poison hat actually worked," he replied, rolling his eyes. Stupid Eugene and Aodhan -- his roommates were so weird sometimes. At her suggestion, Stephen raised an eyebrow, but laughed more. "It wouldn't surprise me. They bicker like an old married couple, and besides, they're both Mudbloods so they deserve each other."

He slipped his arm around her, his face now leaning in closer to hers. "Hey what?"

Tamara grinned at him before leaning in to kiss him. After all, he was her boyfriend. She lifted her hand and cupped his cheek before pulling away. "Hey that."

"Oh, I see how it is." His hands wrapped around her neck and pulled her in for a kiss; one that was similar to hers, only a little deeper and a little longer. This was much better than talking about Aodhan and Eugene.
