Ok, so I made it through a very stressful week here at school (ok, so I still have today to go, but I am thinking positive.)and I am so excited for this weekend. First off, however, why this week was not all that terrible:
1) My Bio test was not written in a foreign language
2) My Chem lab TA agreed not to fail my project grade for safety violations, only make me redo it
3) I won the tickets lottery and got basketball tickets
4) My discussion section for chem was only 8 minutes long
5) I had some type of social event planned for every day of the week
6) I am going on another retreat this weekend to Snowy Owl, NH. That just sounds pretty.
7) Our school colors are maroon and gold, the same color as Gryffindor. Therefore, we were all properly dressed up in the scarfs yesterday in anticipation of the release of the best movie ever.
Ok, reasons for added stress:
1) I had a bio test
2) I almost failed a chem lab
3) I had a social event every night
4) I have to meet with my academic adviser today to go through what he thinks my schedule should be like and I don't even know what classes I want to take. This is hard. I am doing that in a few minutes here before class and while I am doing laundry (the only reason I am awake now) so that I have clothes to pack for the retreat. The problem is that we register last and the classes i want to take are full!
I am so excited for this weekend, then only 2 days of classes, and tuesday i only have a 9 am, and then home on wednesday. Can't wait to see everyone!
P.S. The school of the Americas protest is this weekend in Georgia, and my thoughts are with the people!
