Today has been an amazing day. First off, it was almost 80 degrees and I layed out in the sun and read for class. I am so much more productive in nice weather then I am in bad weather! So, because it was sunny, I was in a good mood from the moment that I woke up this morning.
Also, I had my study abroad orientation today. I met all the other BC kids that I am going to Galway with (there are 12 of us!) and they were all really nice. I am really excited to get to know them all, and they all seem like they will be fun to hang out with. There is one kid who seems really awkward, but sort of funny awkward, so I think that will be ok. I met the girl that I am living with as well, and she seems super nice. We are both psych majors and seemed to hit it off really well today, which is exciting.
All in all, I could not ask for a better day. I am so excited I think I could fly to Ireland powered by nothing but my enthusiasm. AHHHH!!! I have been bouncing off the walls all day!
I just got back from reading in the dustbowl, (Ironically a lovely green space on campus, who would think!) and am getting ready to shower and change to go out tonight. I was only out there for about an hour and I was wearing sunscreen, but alas, the curse of the Irish, I am burned. (The first one of the season, oh joy!) I am having a dinner and a movie girls night with some friends that I have not seen in a while, and I am really looking forward to it!
I hope you are all enjoying the end of our sophomore year! I can't wait to go to Ireland, but I really don't want all the fun I am having here to end either. Life is nothing but dichotomies!
Also, the song I am listening to is absolutely the saddest lyrics played to the most upbeat music - I am dancing to a women crying about her break-up
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!! Laughing in extreme giddiness!
: ) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
