Awkward....
So I have a proposition for you...if you can name a situation more awkward than having to sit and and talk to 9th grade boys about faith, and get them to talk to you about their faith, and do this for 4 hours, then you win a prize. I am not sure what it is yet, but I don't think that matters, because I think I will win. I had to talk to them about service, but eventually the topic got around to the church's teachings on sex. Again, I say awkward. There is no way to handle this except to say that you must embrace the awkwardness. Oh what a day!
Also, because 2 of my retreat leaders pulled out on me at 11:30 last night, I was running around trying to get things done to cover for them. Hooray! That means that I didn't get work done, and I am now 200+ pages behind in my reading for neuroanatomoy, and several more pages behind for my other classes, and I have 2 exams for them on Monday of next week, and Caitlin gets here on Friday. Oh boy! I should not have gone to the Students for Obama rally that I went to on Saturday. It was fun, but I should have been working...
