(no subject)
So I know I haven't updated in a while, but I thought now was a good time to do so.
Working at the nursery school has been a lot of fun, and I have a large group of little kids that I adore and who love me back, as well as a few who love me even when I want to ring their little necks! ITs a lot of work though as well, and I am always exhausted after work.
The summer is going by way too fast, and at the same time, it isn't. I realized today that in 40 days I move back to BC, and while I am super excited about that fact, I also feel like I haven't done everything that I wanted to do this summer before going back. And people seem different too. Not good or bad, just different. (ok, somethings are good and somethings are bad, but for the most part they are just different.)I am still not used to the dichotomy of college. You are always pulled in two different directions, home and school, and you have to learn to live in one while still remaining a part of the other. Its hard for so many people that you love to be so far apart, and for them not to know each other either. That is different from life before college, everyone used to know the people that I talked about.
Leaving the philosophical, I have finally grown my nails out. THey are long enough to drum and make a nice sound with, but they are also harder to type with. Yay for not biting them and for how pretty they look, but booo for how much more difficult some things are with them.
My comforter is at the cleaners, and I am snuggling with the quilt that Mrs. Wrobel made me (and suzanne gave me!) and I was thinking about how much fun that end of senior year was, and the summer in between college. I want a few more days of being the way things were. Growing up can slow down for a bit, I am not ready for all the life decisions that are heading our way in the next few years.
Ok, well I am tired and this has been a rant about nothing, so I will talk to everyone soon. If you are around tomorrow (sunday) call me and we should do something.
P.S. I went shoe shopping today and bought a really cute pair of heels! and isn't this weather great? I have the windows open and the breeze blowing, and it feels so nice!
