BLIZZARD!!!
Ok, so we had a blizzard here today. Its been snowing since 3 a.m. and we have over 18 inches of snow. At some points, we couldn't see farther than a foot out the window. Snow was not falling, it was in vortexes. At one point, it looked like it was all falling up, yes, I realize I said falling up. There was also lightening and thunder in a snow storm. It was purple. About teh strangest thing I have ever witnessed in my life. They shut down the buses, so all meetings and events were cancled on campus. Even the T wasn't really running. It is also 1 degree outside (with the windchill) and it has generally been an ugly day. THought you all might like to know that.
Also, I found out that for my appalachia trip I am going to Alderson,WV and am doing prison ministry. In fact, it is in the prison Martha Stewart was housed in. Fascinating, hugh? I think it is going to be weird. Good, but weird....
