Sorry about the lack of enthusiasm. But really, i was very excited and enthusiastic.
Saturday.
It's been a while, and this is worth it.
So yesterday night was College Ball at the Dockside in Darling Harbour. It was AWESOME! Truly it was and I had a really good time. Started getting ready at 5 and left college at 6 after group photos, giving roses to the other girls in the group, and receiving chocolate from them in exchange.
Arrived at about 6:45pm and started lining up. We were let in onto the balcony where there was wine, champagne and assorted soft drinks with a band playing in the background. The only bad thing was that it was extremely crowded.
At 7pm, they let us into the room, with the theme: Pearl of the Orient. It was beautifully set up.
Dinner. For the entree, chicken pieces and stuff. Mains - delicious and tender sirloin steak or potato gnocchi. Dessert, chocolate tartine or raspberry cake or something.
During the expanse of the night, there was lots of swing dancing, lots of moshing when the rock songs came up and just a general good time.
Ball finished at 11:30pm. Lots of people headed over to Homebar for afters. I went to Pancakes on the Rocks being underaged. Took us about 15 mins to walk there. Had a latte. Started walking to the bus stop on Circular Quay at about 2:10. Bus didn't arrive til 2:30am and got back home at 3am. Hooray!!! Slept at 4.
Today. Woke up at 11. Algebra and Chemistry. The 24 Hour Dining Room Challenge started at 2pm where you have to stay in the dining room for 24 hours. Watched Mononoke Hime and played my part in the movie for college revue. Which might I add, should be BRILLIANT!!! I'm a copper. Later, will organise card games for the 24 hour dining room challenge. Mao starts at 10. Should be a good time!
