"I missed you grandma"

Those are beautiful words coming from the soft high pitched voice of a 2 year old child.  In all the difficulties we face with the kids moving in, those moments with those sweet little words can really touch your heart.  As a grandma, I have to admit to melting in a puddle at his feet.  Or when little M tenderly held my cheeks in her 2 little hands to gently kiss me on the lips as I came up the basement stairs.  But most amazing is to see K's eyes light up and a grin spread across her face when I walk in the door after work.  Wow.  Add moments like that up and you have yourself a great day on earth.
Do you think it had anything to do with the cheesecake I brought home to share from the Cheesecake Factory?  I'm kidding.  Those kids wouldn't care if I was empty handed.  Now M might be a different story.  He loved his Chocolate Coconut "something" Cheesecake which I picked because it is the waitresses favorite.
I just had a good laugh with co-worker.  Tears were rolling for both of us as she related a funny story.  More moments to cherish.  A good belly laugh can do great things for the mood.
I feel very positive and full of love this morning.  Now to carry that throughout my day.

laughter, love
