Dove Chocolate Party
I haven't been to a home party for years. You know, Longaberger or Tupperware. Last night I went to a party with 3 vendors: Candles, Kids books and Chocolate. The books were calling my name, but I forced myself to dip some beautiful strawberries and raspberries in chocolate fondue, then I had to try the brownies dipped in chocolate mousse. And all with a glass of red wine. Oh yeah.... and several return trips. I ended up buying 2 books. An example of the chocolate prices: 1 box of brownie mix to fill an 8 x 8 pan cost 12.95. Dang, that's expensive.
I was the mother-in-law's friend so most of the crowd was made up of young mothers, but in an upscale neighborhood. Sales seemed brisk.
