Memories again.. alas, much sadder than yesterday.
Writing to friscokitty, who has lost her cat Romeo, I sent her the link to the web page I made 11 months ago when my beloved Cios went to the Rainbow Bridge (http://www.forumvirtuale.it/dag/Cios.html).
I checked if the link worked ok, and for the first time in months re-read what I had written then.
And after a few lines found myself sitting there crying, crying, crying.
Daily life tends to cover the pain with a layer of numbness, making it seem more distant. But whenever that layer lifts, for some reason, it hurts just like before.
I have three cats living with me, and love them dearly. But my bond with Cios was unique, and I still miss her so very much.
Fare well, my little silver-lavender angel, up there over the Rainbow. I know you are waiting for me, and I know it will be just like in the story when we meet again.
