(no subject)
Today has seemed like a week. It has been a LONG day. We drove up to the tiny town of Demorest, GA (way north GA) to go to my great aunt's funeral. I saw a lot of cousins and great aunts and great uncles etc i hadn't seen in a while. And oh my GOSH...my grandmother...many of you know her..hahaha. she tried to HOOK ME UP W/ MY COUSIN!!! 2nd cousin but STILL. that's INCEST. hhaha. i will give it to her, he is hot, but he's still my cousin. hahaha. we were standing around outside the church after the funeral and she kept whispering to us how cute he was (Chad is his name). THEN, she asks his mom..."how closely are they related???" it was hillarious, but VERY embarrassing. hahaha. My mom was like, "Now you know why so many people around here marry their 2nd cousins." hahaha.
Then when we went to the grave (it was just my family and my uncle and cousins) we were standing there and then all the sudden Momma started to run back to the van (which was a ways away). Now if you've ever seen my mother run, this alone is hysterical. So we're all wondering why she's running back to the van...it was just barely misting. Well, right by the time she gets to the van we hear this strange sound....the sound of rain far off in the distance. Well about three seconds later it started POURING on us and we all started running as fast as we could (which isnt' very fast in heels and a dress) back to the van...and ofcourse there was lots of screaming and laughing. it was soo funny. hahaha.
I'm so exhausted. I am so behind on so many things. My room, H&M planning, laundry, calling friends. sigh...i need to get it together.
Anyway, i'm out. It's about time for genesis...
