My Dad and Chocolate on the brain
So the 10th/11th was the 17 year anniversary of my dad's death. I didn't really do anything. I had already been thinking about him all week so I just went with it. I told Dana I want a locket to put a pic of him in for the wedding and whenever I just need him around. She said shell get me one.

In other news we might be getting Chocolate! the dog that is... I am excited! We bought her a bed and some bones. IF we don't end up being able to have her I will be very sad. Dana's brother called it first technically but her parents think we are more stable than he is and they want her to go to us.
We are trying to figure out how much stuff will cost and I think we've got it. It should be manageable. Also we will be forced to exercise because we will have to take her out EVERY day. This apartment is too small to not take her out for at least an hour. We want to train her and make her the best mannered dog ever. I am really psyched.
I hope it works out. We will know by Sunday. We are going fishing at the families house and then we would take her home with us.
