...

The year was 2300 A.D.

The locals called it Death's Peak, where the harbinger of Earth's destruction rested. The truth of the matter was that Lavos had left long ago, but that horrid mountain was not only the home of its spawn, but also a living monument of its damnation of our entire planet. A dying world all turning its eyes to the frozen spike of ground....

The snow there was... so bitter. It stung any bit of exposed skin. The winds roared like hungry lions and were just as vicious. Everything about that mountain tested our mettle, our spirits, and our very sanity... All for a lofty end goal that may not have even worked...

Snow just reminds me of death. Of the pain of loss I felt that entire journey. The snow stopped when he came back...

ship of regret and sleep, this feels familiar, just an ordinary girl, protector of the future, rambling on, time travel can't fix everything
