I would have thought she'd be in the linen closet, it's all comfy! But it's packed tight, even an itsybitsy Elysia wouldn't fit in there! Well!

[He slowly walks to her bedroom, opening the door.]

Could the giggle have come from here? Daddy doesn't think so, but he should check!

[Maes opens the dresser, one drawer at a time.]

She's not a sock, what was I thinking? And she's not shirts either! Or pants! I knew all that!

[A squeak of springs comes from him sitting VERY LIGHTLY on the bed. He can't squish his daughter now!]

Daddy's looked everywhere for his baby! Where could she be? Wait!

[The bed creaks again as he stands.]

What if... what if... no, she can't be that skinny! She's a big girl! But she might be--

[There's a pause, and then a thud as Maes fell to the floor on purpose to look under the bed.]

AHA! I found the most wonderful little girl in the whole wide world!
