They excommunicated three of my best friends just for being born, and killed one when all she wanted to do was help. They drove my youngest friend insane and ruined his life.

But think for a moment.
If she saw you now....knowing how desperately wanted to help those you're seeking to destroy...what do you think she would say? How do you think she would feel?
She died helping those she cared for. I'm sure she knew the risks...I'm sure she was willing to do whatever it took.
And even though they betrayed her, I doubt she'd want to see someone...you..whom she cared for...resort to such violence.
