Oh well...
The seller's absolute minimum and our absolute maximum did not overlap, so we will continue the hunt. Surprisingly I don't feel disappointed, just kind of feeling the drop from "excited" to "back to normal". But as I said, we now know for a fact that we can find places we like, and that's a relief. The seller just has to be a bit more desperate. Or less desperate for the money. Either kind works.
And who knows, if this place is still for sale in a month we can always go back- with our original offer.
Ah, quiet at last. The reason I'm posting now is that it was getting very hard for us to concentrate with the rocks being vacuumed off the roof directly above us. Sounds like a hailstorm of dangerous proportions. I was resisting the urge to type in capitol letters to make sure people could hear me.
Well, off to take advantage of being able to hear myself think. Until it starts up again...
