So yeah, apparently ANY NEGATIVE GENETIC CONDITION AT ALL completely disqualifies you for all disability pay and health care if you're in the military. Forever, if it becomes a big deal within 8 years of signing up. Why? Because they're scared Americans with disorders might try to sneak into the military to get permanent benefits. This includes the genes that predispose you to breast cancer, even though if you get the SAME cancer without having those genes, you're covered.
This is totally evil and idiotic. Nothing else to be said about it. Whatever you think about military policy or wars in general or the specific ones we're stuck in now, these people do not deserve to have to deal with this crap.
