I just wanna say that I didn't know there was a "Cesar Chavez Plaza" in Phoenix, but I'm pleased to hear it. Although, really, how long 'til Sheriff Joe forces a namechange at gunpoint?
Sheriff Joe is losing power every day. This week he was testifying in the corruption case of his old crony former AG Andrew Thomas. Of course he did not recall most of the events he was questioned about.
The plaza is on the steps of the old city hall. There is also a Cesar Chavez park, much larger, green and a place neighborhood people spend time.
If Sheriff Joe showed up at one of these events he might need his gun to get out.
