last night i went alone to see alban berg´s "wozzeck," which is basically the most fucked up opera of all time, based on one of the most fucked up plays of all time called "woyzeck" by georg büchner, which was made into another fucked up movie by herzog starring klaus kinski in the late 70s

yes, if they do a production in berlin it's a must-see, truly.
am quite obsessed with woyzeck/wozzeck, wrote a paper on the opera and one on the play for two different classes of mine last year and had an amazing time doing so...
might be in your stadt in the next few weeks, i'll send you a message and maybe we could drink a beer together and laugh at the absurdity of the internet and strange connections and being auslaenderinnens in germany, i'd love it.
