The 5 Senses of Love

Oct 09, 2004 23:52

There are some that talk of love as if it’s some wonderful commodity. However, there are others that see it as a wasted emotion, a weakness that deters one’s judgment. It can cloud the mind and dull the senses causing even the most intelligent people to stumble. There have even been wars over such a feeling, ending thousands of lives for something that is priceless. It’s such a high price to pay for something that’s not even tangible, don’t you agree?
You know, if you would have asked me that a year ago, or even a few months ago, I would have concurred. However, I met him, and he means more to me than life itself. You might not know it, but love IS tangible. I see it every time I look at him. I hear it every time he speaks. I feel it every time he touches me. I smell it every time I inhale the scent on his skin. I taste it every time his lips touch mine. Love IS real, because he IS love, and I intend to keep it by any means necessary. He chose me, and for the life of me I don’t know why, but I intend to make sure he doesn’t think he made a mistake. He deserves to be loved. I love him with all my mind, heart, and soul, and that’s something no one can ever take away!
