First week as a college dude

It was the best of the times, and it was the worst of the times. Somehow the first week of college life seemed to me like a month in summer time. I had ups and downs during the seven days, still adapting to my new environment.

Surprisingly, the best class so far is the introductory geography class. I took it as one of my Baccalaureate core courses, which means it does not relate to my major but I had to take them nonetheless. The geography professor displayed his sagacity as a Ph. D graduate of Stanford, reminds me of “Doc Browning” I had as a junior at CHS. The worst class I am having now is actually general physic with calculus. I hate the instructor; he treated us like we are Jr. High kid. He talked about his class syllabus, his expectations, and all that crap for two class periods. I acquired more knowledge in the “recitation” class, which is taught by a teaching assistant.

I was really frustrated yesterday because the seller on half.com mailed me the wrong version of the textbook. Now I have to using my roommate’s book as temporary relief before they deliver the right book to my house. The textbooks on half.com are generally way cheaper than the ones sold at the bookstore, but be careful which book are you buying (maybe check the ISBN number?), and do it as early as possible if you are in college before the next term/semester starts.

Today had been a better day for me. I went to the OSU’s new recreation center and a rare worked out there. If you have seen me before, you would know that my body sucks like a walking embodiment of all the compensation. Sorry, I am fatigued now and not making much sense; I’m just meant that I am really emaciated and weak. Right after I ran a couple of miles, I went straight to played basketball without stretching. As a result of my stupidity, a nasty cramp stung my right calf when I tried for a jump shot. My leg still hurts a little now as I am typing all this garbage that probably messed up you “Friends” page. I'll probably post some cool pictures next time.
