First Day of Class at College

Sep 27, 2004 20:04

Overall, my first day of experience in college had been alright. The first class I had in the morning was Physics 212. The instructor was kind of high on coke, he jumps around and yells at people to demonstrate the power of FORCE. The whole class kind of just ignored him, because he just handed out class syllabus and rambled on forever about his policies of not grading on curve and his prohibition on graphing calculators. This class seems to be “entertaining” with his eccentric lectures, but a couple of people told me this guy give student nasty midterms and final. I guess I will have some wonderful excitement occasionally. Now I really miss Mr. Robinette. He taught me for two year in Physics and AP Physics as one of the coolest teachers at CHS.

The next class was math, and I missed the first 20 minutes of the classes because the school changed the classroom last Friday and did not notify us. When I arrived at the right classroom, I still failed to grasp any knowledge for the instructor came from some far away country and had a worse accent than me. He also talked way too fast, so I just read my math textbook afterward at the dorm.

The best class of the day was also the last one. The instructor for my introductory class to electronics is a cool and easy-going man. We also did nothing in that class, but the guy was good enough to keep our attention focused throughout the whole period. I think I should do some homework now. I’m wasting too much time on the internet.
