Gifts around the Christmas tree. 3 dinner invites for Christmas eve. and the best thing of all, work on Christmas day! AWESOME! Oh sure, it may seem like bad news to work Christmas Day but that guarantees I have next year's off. I hope to spend Christmas in Pinas, `though I have to face the horrendous traffic and the mad crowd at the malls. Speaking of the mall, I still have to dash out tomorrow to pick out a gift for Ate Cerie, Agnes and Ate Nina's boys. I thought I was done with my shopping but I guess not. There's more to my (non-existent) list than I thought. Yup my list is all in my mind. Not a smart move considering Ive made countless trips to the mall and the outlet stores. I should have been done long time ago but obviously with just 2 days away, I'm still not.
Ohh I should scold myself for procrastinating. Last year I bought a box of Christmas cards to send to family and friends but because I was preparing for my NCLEX I had neglected to mail them out. This year I have no excuse. The cards still sit in the box, waiting to be written on. Then, next year well I have no use for them next year cos I will be home. :D
Hay .. it's still a long time from now but already I am excited. I miss simbang gabi, puto bumbong, bibingka and tablea in the morning. Of course, it goes without saying that I miss being in the company of my family and dear friends.
Meanwhile, I'll enjoy winter (as long as it doesnt snow as much as last year!!) and the family I have here. Ohh and ...
