well it has been a while

Okay so nothing earth shattering happening.  Still bowling and actually been doing pretty good, meaning my scores are going up.  Thanks to a few suggestions by Scott (one of my team-mates).

So I haven't been to the gym so i canceled my membership.  It just was not convenient and after work it is just to much out of my way.

However, joined the gym that UCSF operates.  It is right on the way home as it is across the street in the Millbrae Student Union Building.  I get an employee discount, but still it is more than Gold's was.  However, I like it better. There is not as much equipment, but there is an indoor pool, raquet ball court, also there are classes I can attend.  I also can use the gym at our Mission Bay Campus which is bigger. But the gym at my campus will be just fine.  I have been conditioning myself to wake up at 5am, be at the bus  train by 5:15am and be at the gym by 5:30.  be in the showers by 6:30 and at work by 7am.  So Monday will be "go live" date for this. I will do this Mon, Weds, and Friday . Tues and Thurs I will go after work for a short cardio and then some light weight training...for toning.  I just joined so I am still getting familiar with their equipment and layout.  I want to try to swim, but I don't swim real well....but it is supposed to be very good for you...I won't get better unless I do it.

Well I decided to go to my Seminar in May.  It is in Orlando, Florida.  I wasn't goi to go, but I need to attend one at least every two years to keep my credentials to be an instructor.  I should have went last year when it was in Reno, but like I  have been to Reno and had no desire to go.  We got a bonus of sorts at work which will paid for most of it.  Since I am going to Orlando i am going two days early and will take in Disneyworld.  I don't need to use vacation time as work will allow my salary to be paid as education, but they wont pay the cost of the seminar and other expenses... my cig money will pay what the bonus didn't.  Yes i still put aside the cost of what i spent on cigs....remember it is my "fun money" and it adds up, and I spend it on myself frivously....and you know what I don't care!

So my birthday is rapidly approaching.  Oh yeah! fifty!  So what to do on my Birthday?  Well I decided what better thing to do, but go to the theatre.  Wicked started last week and is here for an open ended run, but for some reason I want to see it on my birthday so that is what i will be doing...so I need to go buy the soundtrack so I have a familiarity of the music and lyrics.  That way i will enjoy it more...

Grease will be here next month and will probably see that as well.... dunno.  Taylor Hicks (American Idol) is in it.  He plays Teen Angel.  Of course there is a singalong version of the movie (you know with Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta) playing at the Castro Theater...yes remember this is San Francisco and then in April a sing along of "The Wizard of Oz" will be playing.  Hint to family:  The Wizard of Oz was always a favorite of mine... this is a Gay staple.  When you someone as a "friend of Dorothy" it is another way of saying he is gay...lol  this is your gay term/slang for the week!

So yes April will be a fun month....

Oh for all you Bruce Campbell fans (Josh and Sonja) you realize he is in a weekly series  "Burn Notice"  kinda cheesy, but then again we are talking Bruce Campbell.  yes, I understand that josh has no TV, thus no cable...but Burn notice can be viewed on Hulu

Okay I am tired and need to go to bed! and is there an easier way to spell-check on LJ?

Laterz....
