Drawbacks to Chemo

Well some things I can definately tell you about being on Chemo is. Taste Buds are off. And there's this constant nasty taste in your mouth that just doesn't leave. Not only that. But i'm noticing i'm emitting a strange odor. That of the Chemo. Which sort of resembles my breath. Someone said hard candies help. I guess i'll try that.

I haven't had any problems with fitigue or anything. But then they've been really good about keeping up on my stats. And if something get's low or too high somewhere from the Chemo treatments. Then they give me some IV or other medication to counteract it and bring things to the right levels. Which has been keeping me healthy. I'm on a five day reprieve of not having to have any Chemo at all until next Thursday. Although one day this week. Porobably either tomorrow or Tuesday. I'll have to have a Spinal Tap done. Which has me a little nervouse. But they want to test the spinal fluid in my spine and make sure there's not Lymphoma floating around inside of my spinal fluid. Because Chemo doesn't work in the Spinal column. At least not the Chemo i'm on.

And it's official. I had gone downstairs on a walk. And I was getting in the elevator. I had passed through this family who were waiting to get on the elevator but two were still getting their visitor passes. By the time the Elevator reached for us all to get on. They were done. And I overheard one girl say. "let's wait for the next one. That guy kinda smells"

Fuck you. Here let me give you cancer and see how you like it. Okay off my soap box now. I return you to your regularly scheduled programming
