Sketch of a classmate
I've come back to livejournal! Sort of. I'll try to remember it, but I haven't been good with sticking to my promises of being on here a lot, so I don't know how long this will last.
So let's start this off with some drawings. I've been looking at art recently and I've been awfully discouraged by the amount of good art that I see. Still, it makes me want to get better, so I guess I better start drawing a lot. I've started to do some tonal studies lately, and here are two of my most recent ones.
This first one is of Tony Ward. I did the study from a photo, mostly done in pchat but some editing in photoshop. Doesn't quite look like him but at least it turned out looking alright. What a sexy sexy man.
And this one is of a classmate of mine named Lyndsey. I started sketching her at some point during the night, and eventually told her what I was doing because (lolol being creepy). But anyways, I left a printed version of this on her desk, hope she likes it.
