A very long post....

For the record, I will forever state Fatal Frame as the scariest game in the world; I can't play it unless there is at least one other person in the room (usually my brother, and even though we know how scary it is, we will still only play it after dark), and my favourite games are horror games. My room is filled with horror games, and I will happily play them all for hours. I mostly play Silent Hill games, I've finished 1 and 3 countless times, and only recently got a hold of 2 (which I have since managed to lose, so I can't play it right now).

My new vice is Forbidden Siren. Which isn't so much scary as it is hard as hell, but for the proof of how creepy it should be, provided you're not apparently immune to fear (until Fatal Frame is involved, it's just that scary):

I have spent the last five days probably terrifying the neighbours by screaming at my characters everytime I get killed, and hurling abuse at the enemies just for being there. My only complaint is not even aimed at the graphics (because I will play games regardless to graphics) but towardws the fact that it is a Japanese game, with Japanese characters with Japanese names, and yet they all sound British or Australian. I'd rather have it in Japanese and try to piece together the story with what little of the language I know than listen to the awful accents.

And, now, because I am very behind, a lot of my meme:

30 Days of Television meme:

Day 10 - A show you thought you wouldn't like but ended up loving
I watch most shows warily, because I'm not really a tv person. In uni I will there and watch it because I'll get shouted at if I'm not being socialable, but at home I will easily stay hidden away and not set eyes on the tv; so long as I talk to my parents at some point during the day they're not bothered. I think the show I went into with the most trepidation was Firefly, and I'm not even sure why, because I'm just like Jason with my interests, and thanks to my father we will both happily go and watch any kind of sci-fi show. It was the way he said 'sci-fi-western' I'm sure. It sounds so weirdly disjointed that you can't help but be slightly pessimistic as you go to watch it the first time.

Day 11 - A show that disappointed you
Ashes to Ashes. It was a sequel to Life on Mars, which never really stopped being so very very awesome, so I went into it grinning from ear to ear. I think I only ever really continued to watch it because of Gene Hunt, he's such an entertaining character. Alex I couldn't really get along with from the get go.

Day 12 - An episode you've watched more than 5 times
Either Firefly's Shindig, NCIS's Dogtags or Supernatural's Bad Day at Black Rock. I think they're all awesome :D

Day 13 - Favorite childhood show
Freakazoid. Not many people recognise it, or even remember it. But my entire family can pretty much quote it even now.

Day 14 - Favorite male character
Dean Winchester. I'm apparently very much him. But then I'm apparently very much a lot of people.

Day 15 - Favorite female character
Kaylee from Firefly. She's always so happy and perky :D

Day 16 - Your guilty pleasure show
This is difficult, on the basis that I'm not sure what this really entails. Something I'll watch even though it's awful? With my inability to watch tv at the best of times? It's probably Jerry Springer. Which is terrible to admit, but I walked into the room one day with the tv playing to itself and the title screen read 'Jerry Springer, wasting technology since 1991' or something. You have to pay attention for a bit after that. And then there's the fact that they apprently can't have people on the show unless they've ticked a box that states 'no matter what I've just been told, I will start a fight'.

Day 17 - Favorite mini series
Band of Brothers. It's so awesome xD

Day 18 - Favorite title sequence
Firefly. I really really love the song for it as well. It getds hummed a lot around the house. And if one of us starts the others pick it up, and then everyone's wandering around singing 'Ballad of Serenity' and quoting Firefly.

Day 19 - Best TV show cast
Firefly's Cast. I've noticed I jump at programmes that have at least one of them in it, and tend to love them straight off the mark because of that. I just think the entire cast is amazingly insane, and really good actors.

Day 20 - Favorite kiss
I'm not a romanbtic person at all. So I really love Inara kissing Mal in 'Our Mrs Reynolds'. And her excuses for what happens :P
