Fandom: The Bartimaeus Trilogy by Jonathan Stroud
Genre: Gen
Rating: G
Summary: Everyone needs closure. Set some time after the events of Ptolemy’s Gate.
Warning: I don’t have a good hold of the characters, which is completely my fault because I don’t want to re-read the books or research them. I just wanted to write this out. Massive honkin'

I just finished the last book yesterday and was going, "WHAAAAAAAT?!!!!" at the ending. (and would have posted on lj about it but I forgot XD)
But yes, closure is good. I needed this.

Actually, I do have words. I actually just finished reading the last book yesterday (I KNOW!) and I was left gasping for breath after the last page. That was a perfect dramatic ending, leaving the reader wanting more, but boy, was it cruel.
Then I went to ff.net and checked out the fics there. Not a pretty sight. :(

I borrowed the book from the library yesterday, went to work, started reading the moment I got home, and was like, "I have to finish this TONIGHT."
And yes. I didn't even think about finding fic... but yours came at a very good time.
Stupid Nathaniel

It's so strange, the first two books were reasonably okay but I didn't care for the characters as much. It's only at the third one that it really hit me on the head.
Why did Nathaniel have to turn likeable so near the end why why WHY

Yeah, the first two were ok, entertaining enough for me to want to finish reading the series. The third book was the strongest of the series.
I know! And I was just starting to root for some Kitty/Nathaniel too!
