Edit: So today was great! It was the culmination of many hopes and dreams. When I laid my head down to sleep last night, even when I awoke this morning, I had no intention of going snowboarding. But the idea was planted (I N C E P T I O N) and away I went! It was a great place. I took a lesson and I realized I've been doing it wrong for a long time. The way I snowboard is not conducive to being in control. I don't bend my knees enough. Well, now I'm in a lot of pain. Thanks, Toby. Also, thank you Mike Randall, Teddy Bear Factory Hospital worker who randomly struck up a conversation on the chair lift and was a kind of close talker. He gave me some pointers, too. I think I need a smaller board. Bolton Valley is a great place for the money. The lifts are a little slow, but the mountain was not crowded even though there was TONS of powder. If you like backcountry, this is the mountain for you!

This morning, they delivered the couch. They were supposed to come betwee 9 and 11. They got here at 8:50. I love Vermont.
