I'm into Non-Fiction right now. I'm reading books about the food we eat.
Eating Animals by Jonathan Safran Foer is jarring, confrontational and consequently somewhat underwhelming.
I just finished an amazing book called Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingslover that blew my mind.
It was as good and along the same lines as Omnivore's Dilemma by Michael Pollan.
None of these books say "Be a vegetarian!" btw. They just advocate being mindful of what you eat.
edit: by mindful, I mean what it consists of, where it came from, how it got to you and who grew it.
