what a week
ok so this was an eventful week.
i got my meningitis shot and TB shot/test on tuesday. i dont handle shots well at all. i freaked out because i thought i wasonly getting the meningitis shot, but it turned out that i needed both to be cleared for college. so i freaked out, they eventually calmed me down enough to give me the injections, then i almost puked. and almost passed out. and my vision went blurry. it took me 10 minutes to regain my composure and not feel woozy. it was bad. on thursday i went back into the doctors office to have them check out my TB injection site so they could see if i had TB. no red bump, no TB. they also told me "there was something wrong with your meningitis shot". fuck. the nurse FORGOT to mix in the immunization into the distilled water. the vial with water was empty, but the vial with the white powder, the vaccine, was full. they had to give me the meningitis shot again, but this time i didn't freak out and it went ok.
senior banquet was last night at faro gardens. it was so much fun. the slide show was great and actually made me feel like hs is about to end. it was the first thing to make me realize that. the dancing was awesome. shaneikiah and i had to dance together like always. becky and i did the swing dancing like last year at prom. that was fun too. like every senior went and it was really fun. it was like prom for us w/o all of the under classmen = great time. scott and jake were going to have an eating contest, but after finishing their first plate it appeared that the "all you can eat" buffet was actually a "all you can load on one plate" buffet. i, the ref of their contest, told them to go get another plate for round 2 when we looked up and saw that all of the food was gone. it was good food, but they shouldnt have taken it away so quickly. i think the dover prom should be at faro gardens next year, its much nicer than yokens.
i started my valedictorian speech. its going to be good (i hope). i'll post a copy of my final speech that i use at graduation the day after i give it.
and now i'm off to krista's graduation party. congrats to coe brown class of 2004. we are all jealous that you got to graduate 2 weeks before the rest of us.
